The festival features performances of early groundbreaking work as well as more recent compositions inspired by the movement. Highlighted composers include such greats as Branca, Monk, Part, Andriessen, Glass, and Gordon.
The festival's concerts and events take place in the state-of-the-art Walt Disney Concert Hall designed by Frank Gehry, located at 111 S. Grand Ave. in Downtown] LA. The music and symposia of the Minimalist Jukebox Festival run from March through April, with a sister Minimalist Jukebox Festival for [[film held in January.
