Long Beach Bayou Festival
The Long Beach Bayou Festival is a three-day, all-ages celebration of Louisiana music, food, and culture held every June in the city of Long Beach. Located near the Long Beach Convention Center, the Long Beach Bayou Festival has been running for 20-plus years and features its own French Quarter complete with a recreated Bourbon Street, a large covered dance floor and free dance lessons, two stages of live jazz and zydeco music, an arts and crafts marketplace, and a daily Mardi Gras-style parade led by the New Orleans Traditional Jazz Band.

Free children's arts and crafts activities include costume and mask making, perfect for joining in the parade and other festivities. The Long Beach Bayou Festival also features food vendors serving delicious Louisiana fare such as gumbo, hush puppies, red beans and rice, crawfish etouffee, and other Cajun favorites.

The festival runs from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Friday, and from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. A full-day adult ticket is $30; youth, student, and senior discounts are available and children under 9 are free. The N'Orleans at Night ticket is $20 and offers admission to all festivities after 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
