Each February around Valentine's Day, LA's Hispanic communities come together to put on a family friendly, weekend-long street fair and cultural celebration for the Festival de San Valentin. Booths with Mexican, Central American, South American, and Caribbean arts and crafts line the streets, food vendors offer an exciting selection of traditional dishes, and kids can enjoy the carnival rides and games along with the festive atmosphere.

The festival is also an opportunity to help support and build community between local Hispanic businesses. Free and open to all, LA's Festival de San Valentin takes place in Ted Watkins Park in South Central LA, beginning around noon and going into the night Saturday and Sunday.
