In all its seedy and glamorous, decadent and harsh glory, Hollywood equals Los Angeles for many visitors. The appeal of West Hollywood is more twenty-first century. WeHo, as it's known, may not have the famous historic sights, but it does have Sunset Strip, party central for clubbers, plus art galleries, shops, and an environment that's friendly to the boy-boy and girl-girl couples, including more than enough clubs.

WeHo also claims the Cahuenga Corridor, reclaimed from its recent past as a prostitutes' stroll and drug marketplace to become the home to nightclubs so hip that even Paris Hilton misbehaves here.
